Martial Cottle Park, San Jose. Thursday, September 17, 2015

Martial Cottle is the newest park in the Santa Clara County Park system.   It's the result of one man's generosity, vision and desire to preserve a small part of the Santa Clara Valley's agricultural heritage for future generations.  Right now the developed areas (picnic & BBQ areas, restrooms, children's playgrounds, and paved trails) are complete.   The farm related areas (barn, outbuildings, farmhouse and equipment), which we were itching to get into and paint, are in a transitional period and won't be accessible to the public for approximately 5 years.
