Challenging day at the Baylands painting in the fog.

If it wasn't for Karen's orange sleeves and Tanvi's blue

Mini it would have been exclusively a study in greys.

What a morning!  That sky must have changed a dozen times

while I was there painting.  Foggy, fuzzy, cloudy, a little blue sky,

back to foggy, then sunny and bright blue sky, and repeat…

I had to just stay with the image of the first sky I saw to paint it.”

~ Laurie
