Yamagami's Garden Center, Cupertino, Thursday, Dec 6, 2018

Yamagami's Garden Center and Nursery has a rich history and deep sense of community dating back to 1948 when the original owner and visionary Taro Yamagami started Yamagami’s Nursery. The garden center has many varieties of plants and shrubs as well as garden sculptures and special holiday collections.

With the Thanksgiving holiday, and paintsites cancelled due to smoke and rain, we hadn't painted together for almost a month. Finally everything was right for this paintsite: clear skies, just right temperature for December, a huge variety of beautiful painting subjects, and the camaraderie of fellow plein air artists.
