Belgatos Park, Los Gatos, Thursday, February 28, 2019

Although located on the edge of a subdivision and equipped with a playground and a lawn, Belgatos Park doesn't have much of an urban aura about it - rather, its oak covered hillsides, rich wildlife (including numerous bird species) and hiking trails give the park a secluded feeling. Painters only needed to hike uphill a short distance for spectacular views in all directions. For more on Belgatos Park please check out:

Weekend paintsite at Belgatos Park

The weekend artists were not so lucky with the weather when they scheduled a paintsite at Belgatos Park on March 9, 2019.  Rain was forecast so leader Alison sent word to her Saturday regulars of the inclement forecast.  She went at her own peril and painted from her car.
