Central Wholesale Nursery, San Jose, Thursday, December 16, 2021

This was our third holiday visit to Central Wholesale Nursery, and as was the case with our previous visits, we were whole heartily welcomed and given full access to paint among the rows of nursery plants. The plants looked their best having had a few days of rain.

12 artists took a chance on a rain free morning: Brad, Karen, Caroline, Elizabeth, Helen, Jane, Monique, Dick, Salinda, Masako, Cynde, Susan B-G

Patchen Old Town Tree Farm, Old Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos, Thursday December 2, 2021

Thursday Paintsites had eighteen participants in the Amazing Race - Santa Cruz Mountain Edition! Following the clues of our host at Patchen Christmas Tree Farm (
https://patchencalifornia.com) and SCVWS website instructions, our painters persevered despite being fooled by the Google map instructions!

While it was an unseasonably warm day, it didn't dampen the holiday spirits of Lora, Lin, Brad, Janice, Jane, Jayne, Cindy L, Karen (and sis Cindy L2), Claudia, Dick, Salinda, Marni, Monique, Alison, Kathryn, Dale and Ricky.  Santa Helpers, and the scents of Christmas inspired some festive paintings..
