Emma Prusch Farm Park, San Jose, Thursday, January 11, 2018



This was the first time in recent memory that the paintsite artists painted at the same location on consecutive Thursdays.  Emma Prusch Farm Park was a wonderful place to visit again because there is so much subject material: 3 large barns plus other buildings, the original Prusch family farm house, geese, peafowl, pigs, sheep, many chickens, farm equipment, view of the Diablo Range.  It also has very easy access from both Highways 101 and I-280.  The artists seemed to say it was OK to return to a good site, because most of the artists who painted there on Jan 4 returned to paint again on Jan 11.

Leslie painted this ram who was very comfortable relaxing on the picnic
table.  After a while he left, but then he returned to the exact same spot.
She included a rooster.
