The Santana Row complex has won several awards for its architectural and landscape designs, and has been considered a major success as a joint business and residential space within an urban setting.
This site, with its Mediterranean-like atmosphere, has many wonderful subjects to paint including views of the main plaza with its shaded sidewalk cafes, ornate fountains, colorful planters, a chapel facade shipped all the way from France, and to top it all - a giant chessboard!
We are very grateful to the Santana Row management for allowing us to paint at this beautiful setting.
