Today was not your typical SCVWS Paintsite day, it was planned as a special day to honor our recently retired coordinator, Brad Santos. It was a time for Painstite artists to celebrate Brad's contribution and to let him know how much we appreciate his years of leadership and dedication.
We spent the morning painting in and around the baylands capturing the beautiful shadows cast by the avenues of tall trees backed by marshlands and the East Bay hills. Our lunchtime celebration, including a presentation and delicious desserts, was a big success. There was record attendance and rightfully so, as we were all eager to thank Brad for all he has done in promoting and organizing our weekly plein air group.
Check out the upcoming December issue of the SCVWS Newsletter for more on Brad's Appreciation Day.
