Normally a well attended paintsite location, surprisingly few artists and school groups visited Ardenwood Farm this Thursday. At times it seemed like we had this gorgeous preserve to ourselves. There were a total of 7 artists, the majority of whom started at the pumpkin patch located outside the preserve, and then made their way to the main preserve to join the others at the stately Patterson House or the train museum, barns, animals and equipment of the historic working farm.
For those interested in returning to Ardenwood or going for the first time, the Preserve has free admittance on Fridays for the remainder of 2019.
