Weekend Paintsite, November 16, Folger Estate at Wunderlich Park, Woodside, CA

Woodside in general, and Wunderlich Park in particular are known for the love of horses and Equestrian Events. Our weekend artists got a taste of how popular the Park and the Folger Estate can be. If you have driven by this site on any weekend day, you will see cars and pickups lining Woodside Road as people flock to the events going on there. Despite parking and walking with painting materials, four of our stalwart weekenders were undaunted and arrived at the site ready to render objects d'art. Some of our painters may be a bit shy in showing their work, but the following photos can give you the flavor of the site.

The Folger Stable Historic Site Originally belonging to the Folger family (of Folgers Coffee fame) this estate was used as a warm country getaway from San Francisco's cold summers. In 2010 the Folger Stable and surrounding buildings opened to the public after extensive renovations.
