Saratoga Heritage Orchard, Thursday, March 14, 2019

For the first time in my experience we were early for prime apricot bloom in the Saratoga Heritage Orchard, but we did have some perfect examples of blossoms on some branches and lots of red buds.  Some of our artists were futurists who painted the orchard as it will be at peak, some were realists who painted it as it was, and others went back in time to paint the beauty of winter trees. The beautiful warm sunny day brought out a big crowd of artists.
